System description:

We can figure out that the system is made up of 5 sections, management center management software, area concentrator, building concentrator, wireless meter instruments, meter reading instrument from image 1 system structure diagram. The system adopts two-way communication in order to enhance the communicating reliability of system and the data instantaneity, and satisfy the reverse controlling requirement.

By reading module, thereinto, concentrator has two modules, one is timing meter reading, the other is compulsory meter reading (can choose through two jumpers or switches). Timing module means the concentrator can automatically reading the data of concentrator and meter under its jurisdiction according to specified time. Compulsory module means seconds counter, superior concentrator and portable reading instrument of concentrator are pressed by force and compulsory require meter reading, then begin to read meter.

By Power Supply module, it can be divided into battery supplying and alternating current power supplying. The two modules can be chosen through jumper or switch. When choose battery as power supply, the concentrator is in sleep mode (low power consumption), and wake up when in compulsory meter reading module or timing meter reading. Alternating current power supplying system can work without sleeping.

This system can be used by gas and property management companies, especially for old area reconstruction and common meter upgrading.
